Long-term thinking will help resolve issues around viability, resources – skills and supply chains – and planning, according to Jonathan Guthrie, strategic partnerships director at Robertson.
Guthrie said a system reset is needed on how we work together, a reset on policies for procurement, planning and blending public-private finance. Taxation and levies should be used to enable development.
Richard Rollison, director of international trade and investment at the Scottish Government, welcomed the Scotland at MIPIM initiative. He called it a success and recommended it be built on in future years.
